A true icon of café culture, the 18 Loop Back Chair is one of the most recognisable bentwood chairs in history, often referred to as the bistro chair. First introduced in 1876, this timeless design has graced Parisian cafés, stylish restaurants, and heritage-inspired interiors for nearly 150 years. Its elegant, lightweight silhouette is enhanced by a gracefully curved backrest, offering both strength and comfort. Crafted using the classic beechwood bending process, the 18 Chair is a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship and enduring style.

From bustling cafés to chic dining spaces and sophisticated home interiors, this chair is the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern practicality. Its sleek frame, durable construction, and choice of natural cane or upholstered finishes make it a versatile seating option for any setting. Whether in a restaurant, bar, or heritage home, the 18 Chair remains a symbol of timeless design and European café culture—an essential piece for those who appreciate both history and elegance.

Daily cleaning is done with a clean dry cloth. Use a damp cloth soaked in clean water for light soiling. Harsh or abrasive cleaners should never be used as they can cause damage and, in the worst case, scratch the stained surface. It is not recommended to use sharp tools for cleaning as this can cause damage and deep scratches in the stained surface.

Avoid using cleaning products with chemicals.
